Kimberly Brown, L.Ac., N.D., Acupuncturist
Kimberly Brown brings to Age Defy six years' experience as a full time acupuncturist with advanced certification in aesthetic acupuncture. Before returning to her home state of California, she worked at an integrative pain clinic and in her own business in North Carolina. She has experience using acupuncture and other natural modalities in treating a wide range of conditions including but not limited to: cosmetic concerns, menstrual difficulties, peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms, infertility, acute and chronic pain, headaches, and mental-emotional issues. In addition to her acupuncture skills, Kimberly brings her skills as a naturopathic doctor to Age Defy. Naturopatic medicine is based on the belief that the human body has an innate healing ability, blending the best of modern medical science with traditional natural medical approaches to both treat disease and restore health. She holds a bachelor's degreee in Biology from UC-Berkeley and earned both a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine and a Doctorate in Naturopatihic Medicine at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
