Intense Pulsed Light

Flushing, Blushing & Rosacea – Intense Pulsed Light by StarLux®

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a non-surgical treatment that uses pulsed light, not a laser  to significantly improve age spots, large pores, dilated capillaries, red faces (rosacea) and sun-damaged skin on the face, neck, chest, arms and legs.  With a progressive series of IPL treatments, patients experience little discomfort and most are able to return to work quickly.  When appropriate, we may suggest an alternating course of treatment combining IPL with SilkPeel or DermaSweep treatments.  Intense Pulsed Light treatments can result in dramatically smoother, softer skin with smaller pores and less redness.

The Copper Bromide Laser

Age Defy is pleased to be among the first Medical Centers in the country to offer the copper bromide breakthrough technology to our patients.  This laser is specially designed to treat:

  • Small, red thread-like blood vessels on the face, body or legs.  These unwanted marks or spots usually disappear with only one treatment!  In many patients, this laser represents a faster, highly effective alternative to intense pulsed light.   Red stretch marks and scars are also candidates for significant improvement with copper bromide laser therapy.
  • Brown spots (both flat and raised) as well as certain moles and growths.  The copper bromide  laser significantly fades or eliminates them in just 1-2 sessions.

There is minimal discomfort and treatments usually take less than 30 minutes. Make-up can be applied immediately afterwards.  Fees are based on the number of areas treated and the treatment time required. To schedule a consultation, please call 877-AGE-DEFY or contact us online.
