Botox Cosmetic^® is FDA-approved to diminish the dynamic frown lines between the eyebrows, the horizontal forehead lines, and crow's feet around the eyes.  A few drops are injected with a tiny needle into the muscle that creates the wrinkles. Botox safely blocks the nerve impulse from reaching that area and, as a result, the muscle action lessens, the skin overlying it relaxes and wrinkles gradually soften and often disappear. In 3-6 months, as needed, the treatment can be repeated.
