Wrinkle Release

Wrinkle Release is an exciting, minimally invasive technique used to break apart depressed scars and wrinkle lines.  A type of dermatologic ‘undermining,’ Wrinkle Release breaks apart depressed scars and wrinkle lines with a special wire.   This creates tunnels or channels through which new tissue can raise the unwanted depression.  It is used to smooth wrinkles, folds and scars, and, importantly, may be a permanent alternative to Botox^®.  The procedure takes about an hour. Our Medical Director, Dr. Rick Noodleman, uses this technique, and has over 20 years of experience with various types of undermining. 

Patients with depressed scars or deep creases in the nasolabial folds (the lines running from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth), and marionette lines (lines from the corners of the mouth to the jaw line) may benefit from Wrinkle Release.
